She’s also a big fan of sunbathing and will happily soak up the warmth whenever she can! Millie is crate trained and very protective of Gertie. Gertie 10ish yrs old Presumably Millies Momma Meet Gertie, a 5-pound senior dog with a heart full of love and curiosity! Despite her age, Gertie is a happy and spirited pup who loves to explore the world around her. She has had a bit of a health journey with bigging stage of kidney disease, so she requires a special diet, no treats, and daily probiotic and kidney supplements to keep her feeling her best. Gertie also had never been spayed and had numerous mammary tumors when she came to us we did biopsy them and they are cancerous so we are not sure how much time she has but she is not ready just yet. Gertie is crate trained, mostly potty trained, and a great eater—always excited for mealtime. While she is usually reliable about her potty habits, she may have accidents if she’s nervous or scared, so a calm and loving environment is important for her. She also has the most adorable little nose and loves to make the cutest noises, especially when she’s happy (which is often!).
