Meet this sweet girl, Ruth! ???? Approximately 6 yrs young!! This adorable little lady has had her fair share of life's challenges but is now ready to find her forever home. Recently spayed and recovered beautifully in foster care, she's a shining example of resilience and love. Ruth is a social butterfly, happily living with older children, another dog, and even a pig! She's proven herself to be a true friend to all, getting along famously with everyone she meets. While she's still mastering the art of potty training, she's making great progress and reliably goes outside when given the chance. A few accidents are to be expected as she's still learning to communicate her needs, but her willingness to learn is heartwarming. ?? This adorable girl has a unique way of hopping when she's excited, melting hearts wherever she goes. This bounce is the reason we have nicknamed her Roo, short for Ruth and as in Kangaroo. Despite her past, she exudes calmness and contentment, reveling in couch time and cuddles with her human companions. She's a pro at accepting treats gently (make sure to tell her gentle when handing her a treat, as she is playful) and shows no signs of food aggression. Every once in a while, we alert the house to the mailman with a couple barks from her spot on the couch, but that’s the most effort she is willing to give a disturbance. ?? Incredibly well-behaved, Ruth doesn't have a destructive bone in her body. She's never met a shoe or a piece of furniture she wanted to chew on! With her gentle demeanor and loving personality, she is sure to make a wonderful addition to any loving home.???? Ruth came from the local shelter where she was running out of time. She was a confiscate and is assumed to have been used for breeding and she also has lots of face scars. Since coming to us she was spayed and had a dental cleaning as well as ears cleaned and infections treated and resolved, address allergies and had a growth removal and biopsy. Biopsy shows benign ???
