Meet Calypso and Shadow ?? These beauties are 4 year old sister littermates who are inseparable!! Bonded babies ?? Twin sisters who are double the cuteness, double the energy, double the snores, and double the snuggles. They are each others constant companions. They must sleep in their crate basically on top of each other or they will whine all night. Bonded!!! Calypso had a procedure when she was 7 mos old called a liver shunt. This was performed at LVVSC by Internal medicine specialist Dr. Smee. She has been healthy ever since and both these girls bloodwork are normal and they are healthy. Shadow came to us with a UTI and crystals in her urine so she will need to have follow up urinary analysis with your vet to be sure there aren’t any stones forming. Calypso had some crystals too and a UTI so she’s been on antibiotics and is good to go now. We do have Calypso on a RX liver diet and Shadow is on a RX Urinary diet. This will need to continue in their new home of some form of these. As you know pups are not cheap!! Don’t apply if you cannot afford the medical needs. Shadow loves to play fetch constantly. Both are potty trained and great with doggie doors. They know sit, stay and shake. They need a very active house and someone familiar with their breed. As they are very active and high energy! ??????Even with their high energy, they are not at all destructive and only play with their favorite toys. Funny detail… Calypso snores as loudly as a human. ? They love to play a lot so it can be bothersome for some senior or very chill dogs. Their ideal home would be one where it was just the 2 of them running the show! ??. But they do seem to adapt to anything very well and don’t get stressed easily.
